What's in a name? Or in a job title?

I thought for a good long while about what to choose as my job title. I wanted to provide a clear indication of the type of work that I do, without pigeonholing myself or excluding a significant portion of my marketable skills. I considered going without, but I ultimately decided that I wanted a title to serve as a focal point for marketing myself.

When I thought about the core of what I love to do and the services that I wanted to offer clients, "improving how work works" was the recurring theme. Or to put it another way, I specialize in improving the process of work. Tada!

From there, I made a list of how and what I did to accomplish that goal at the organizations where I've worked and categorized them. That ultimately became the list of problems I can help with on the homepage.
